MMP Cost at 1 Million Monthly Installs, Explained

List-price MMP cost at 1 million installs a month, vendor by vendor: published rates, monthly and annual totals, the re-engagement effect and which are quotes.

Short answer: At 1 million attributed installs a month, published list prices put Linkrunner at about $7k a month ($0.007 per install), Singular at about $50k ($0.05 per conversion) and AppsFlyer at about $70k ($0.07 per conversion). Tenjin and Kochava move to Enterprise quotes at this volume, and Adjust, Branch and Airbridge publish no comparable price. These are list-price estimates from pricing pages checked on 5 November 2026, not quotes.

What does a mobile measurement partner cost for an app doing 1 million installs a month?

A mobile measurement partner at 1 million installs a month costs its published rate at that volume multiplied by the units it bills, so two numbers decide the answer: the rate, and what counts as a billable unit.

Billable unit: the event a vendor charges for. Linkrunner bills attributed installs. AppsFlyer and Singular bill conversions, and AppsFlyer's pricing FAQ says a conversion can be an install, a re-engagement or a re-attribution. Tenjin counts an install that follows an ad click.

None of these vendors bills installs it does not attribute, so "1 million installs" below means 1 million attributed installs a month.

Singular$0.05 per conversion (Growth)about $50kabout $600k

How each figure is worked out:

  • Linkrunner: 1M x $0.007 = $7,000. Pricing is by volume, not graduated, so once a month passes 500k installs the $0.007 rate applies to every billable install that month.
  • AppsFlyer: 1M x $0.07 = $70,000. The Welcome Package's 12k free conversions apply to the first year only and cover a little over 1% of one month at this scale.
  • Singular: 1M x $0.05 = $50,000. Its free allowance of 15k paid conversions is similarly small here.
  • Tenjin: the XL plan is $1,000 for 100k conversions, and the page lists overage at no more than $0.03 per extra conversion. That gives a ceiling of $1,000 + 900k x $0.03 = $28,000, but Tenjin points volumes like this to its Enterprise plan, so treat it as an upper bound, not a price.
  • Kochava: Enterprise starts at $2,000 a month with 200k MAU included, so 1M installs sits far above the listed allowance.
  • Airbridge: Core bills $0.0001 per data point above the 500k included, so cost depends on how many data points the app sends, not on installs alone. Its Growth plan is priced on MAU or installs by quote.

How do re-engagements change the bill?

Per-conversion pricing counts more than new installs. Example inputs, not a benchmark: the same app also drives 200k re-engagements a month from retargeting.

VendorBillable unitsPer month
Linkrunner1M installs; re-engagements are not billedabout $7k
AppsFlyer1.2M conversionsabout $84k
SingularDepends on whether its "paid conversions" include re-engagementsAsk before signing

At 1M installs, retargeting volume can move a per-conversion bill by tens of thousands of dollars a month, so ask every vendor for its unit definition in writing.

What if only part of the million is attributed?

Many apps quoting "1M installs" mean total installs, organic included. Example inputs: 700k attributed and 300k unattributed organic.

  • Linkrunner: 700k x $0.007 = $4,900, still in the top tier.
  • AppsFlyer: 700k x $0.07 = $49,000.
  • Singular: 700k x $0.05 = $35,000.

Linkrunner bills any install it attributes to a source, including referral and deep link installs, so "attributed" is wider than paid ads alone. Check the same definition with each vendor.

How does 1M compare with 100k installs?

Per-conversion vendors scale in a straight line: AppsFlyer and Singular charge the same rate at 100k as at 1M, so ten times the volume is ten times the bill. Linkrunner's published rate falls from $0.009 at 100k to $0.007 above 500k, so its bill rises about 7.8 times. The MMP cost at 100k and 1M installs post sets the two volumes side by side, and the MMP cost calculator runs any volume up to 1M.

Which MMP fits an app at 1 million installs a month?

  • On published price: Linkrunner's $0.007 is the lowest published per-install or per-conversion rate in the table, about a tenth of AppsFlyer's Growth rate. Linkrunner is a newer company, founded in December 2024, and enterprise items such as SSO and role-based access are on request, so large teams should check those in a pilot.
  • On negotiating power: at this scale, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch and Singular are usually bought on negotiated contracts. Use their list prices as a ceiling, and use how to compare MMP quotes to turn a quote into an effective cost per install.
  • For connected TV: Kochava's Enterprise plan is the one built around CTV measurement.
  • For games: Tenjin's Enterprise plan is aimed at studios that have outgrown its 100k XL band.

Before a renewal at this volume, MMP Price Watch's guide to avoiding an MMP price hike at renewal lists what to lock into the contract. Linkrunner publishes all five volume tiers on its pricing page, billed monthly after installs happen, with no annual contract.

FAQ

How much does an MMP cost at 1 million installs a month? On list prices checked 5 November 2026, about $7k a month on Linkrunner, $50k on Singular and $70k on AppsFlyer. Tenjin and Kochava move to Enterprise quotes, and Adjust and Branch publish no paid prices.

Do MMPs offer volume discounts at 1 million installs? Linkrunner publishes its volume tiers, ending at $0.007 above 500k. AppsFlyer and Singular publish one per-conversion rate and sell larger contracts as custom Enterprise plans, so discounts are negotiated.

Does a 1M-install app pay for organic installs? Not for installs the MMP does not attribute. The per-unit vendors in the table exclude unattributed organic installs, but definitions of attributed and paid differ, so check each.

Why is Tenjin's figure only a ceiling? Tenjin's published plans stop at 100k conversions, with overage of at most $0.03 per extra conversion. Above that, it sells an Enterprise plan by quote.

Does a free allowance matter at 1 million installs? Very little. Free allowances of 12k to 25k installs or conversions are each under 3% of one month's volume at this scale.
